I am the night breeze
That drifts between
The sea and the mountains.
I am the towering willow
That sits beside the water’s edge
Watching, waiting.
I am the twittering birds
That sing and soar,
Gliding along with the wind.
I am the blooming flowers,
Petals the colours of lilac and sapphire
Blushing in the fields.
I am the sweltering heat,
The light that caresses your skin
And the warmth that seeps into your soul.
I am the creatures that venture
And the animals that roam
Where the wild meets the tame.
I am the leaves that fall
And sleep in Autumn
My shade dark and welcoming.
I am the sun that glistens in Summer
And the waves that hold
The sand close.
I am the new life that
Bursts alive in Spring,
Ready, eager.
I am everywhere,
And you would see me
If only you looked.
I am everywhere,
And you would hear me
If only you listened.
